The spin-off manga "Yowamushi Pedal - Spare Bike Hen" will be adapted into stage play from March 19 to 21, 2021 at the Sankei Hall Breeze in Osaka and from March 26 to 28, 2021 at the Nippon seinenkan in Tokyo.
"Yowamushi Pedal - Spare Bike Hen - Heroes!!" was initially scheduled in July 2020 in Tokyo and Osaka, but it was cancelled due to COVID-19. Some cast members had been changed:
- Ryosuke Sota will replace Taishu Nukanobu as Sakamichi Onoda
- Rui Tabuchi will replace Shori Kondo as Yusuke Makishima
- Kohei Hayashida will replace Kento Muto as Shingo Kinjou
- Shu Takada will replace Dai Goto as Hayato Shikai
- Ryutaro Maeda will replace Shota Matsuda as Eikichi Machimiya
- Shotaro Okada will replace Ryusuke Fujiwara as Kotaro Ishigaki
- Yuki Kimisawa will replace Kento Ono as Shou Koseki
All the visuals had been unveiled.
